Investors Make First Foray into Portland with 35-acre Buy, Plans for New Development
A real estate development firm that's acquired and developed more than 32 million square feet of industrial projects around the country has made its first acquisition in Portland — and has big plans ahead.
Bridge Development Partners, which has offices in Chicago, Seattle, California and on the East Coast, has acquired a 35-acre property at 775 N.E. Columbia Blvd. The property had been a landfill that's been "rehabilitated," according to a release.
The price was not disclosed and had not yet been updated in the county's online records.
Bridge, represented by Tom Talbot, Zach Francis and Karla Hansen of Kidder Mathews, is planning a two-building industrial development on the site. Tentatively called Bridge Point I-5 Portland, the development will comprise a 425,000-square-foot building and one of 225,000 square feet.
